Erik Nilsson

Erik is a fifth-year medical student doing a year of research at COPSAC. Erik has worked at Hvidovre hospital’s pediatric department and his article: “Downsizing treatment with tyrosine kinase inhibitors in patients with advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumors improved resectability.” has previously been published in World Journal of Surgery.

At COPSAC, he will be responsible for the project entitled “Physical activity in 2-year old children – a prospective study”. Erik will perform calibration and validation of the accelerometers. Furthermore, at the 2 year visit at COPSAC, he will provide all participants in the study with an accelerometer. The data collected will be used to investigate the levels of physical activity and to analyze the data together with development of asthma.”
