Maria Holmberg

Maria is a student of medicine and has been working at COPSAC since primo 2009, working on a research-project as a 1-year pre-graduate research student at the University of Copenhagen.

Maria's research focuses on the analysis of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in exhaled air, working on pattern-recognition with eNose-technology and GC-MS. The aim of the study is to develop a reliable method for collection of breath-samples, and to use this method to identify a specific VOC-pattern for asthmatic children.
